The studios Harry Potter are located in the suburbs of North East London. To get there, two solutions are available to you:
- the bus provided you have purchased a combined tour and transport ticket
- the train and the studio shuttle.
Please note, to visit the studios you must buy the ticket online, there is no sale on site.
Where are Harry Potter studios located?
The Warner Bros Harry Potter studios are located 25km north east of London, more precisely in Leavesden.

Where to take the bus in central London to go to the Harry Potter studio?
Whether you buy your ticket on the UK Tourist Office website or on GetYourGuide, bus transport will be provided by the same provider and therefore the meeting point and departure times will be similar.
Two departure points in central London are available: Victoriaet Kings’s Cross St Pancras .
Transfers from Victoria are provided daily while those from Kings's Cross St Pancras are only available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
For your information, the bus trip to the Harry Potter studios varies between 1h30 and 2h00 depending on traffic.
Arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time to check in.

You can also buy your admission to the studios without transport and make your own way to Leavesden.
For that you will have to take the train then the bus.
First stop: take the train from Euston Station to Watford Junction
First of all, Euston station is in the Camden district, a short walk from St Pancras.
From Euston Station, two trains lead to Watford Junction namely the National rail and London Overground.
National rail : Departure all day at regular intervals every 5 to 10 min.
The journey time varies according to the stops: between 15 and 50 min. See departure timest.
London Overground : Departure every 30 min with a journey time of approximately 50 min.See departure times.
GOOD PLAN ! Whatever your route, you can use your Oyster Card.
Make sure you have sufficient credit or top it up. Count around £ 5.80 each way (excluding rush hour) or £ 9 during rush hour (7-30am and 10-16pm)
It will cost you less than buying a ticket at the terminal because your Oyster Cardalready covers part of the route, namely zones 1 & 2!
For children under 11 years the trip is free if you take the London Overground ; you can go through the porticoes with them.
Half price for children between 11 and 15 years old, to benefit from this reduction, you either buy a Travelcard child or an adult Visitor Oyster card (the child Oyster Card does not exist) and ask at the counter for a discount to benefit from a 50% reduction compared to the adult rate.
To obtain this reduction, go to the counter with your child and ask for the child rate, namely “Young Visitor discount”. This offer is valid for 14 days.

If you take the trains of the rail network from National Rail, le ride is free for children up to 5 years old. On the other hand, children aged 5 to 15 inclusive must have a ticket but benefit from a 50% reduction on the journey.
Second stop: take the bus from Watford Junction to the Harry Potter studio
Once you arrive at Watford Junction station, you can take an easily recognizable bus thanks to the decor in the colors of Harry Potter Studios.

Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studios are far from central London, so don't ditch the transport issue at the last moment.
In addition, when making your reservation you will have to choose a time slot for the start of the visit. Take into account the transport time so as not to arrive late!
